happy almost halloween

find a song with a good beat.. dub or trip hop if you have it. Nightmares on wax, portishead, massive attack. something like that. Then turn off the sound on this video, start your own music and watch it at the same time. The way merry melody films are made, they eventually match up with the beat. so good right?

bien oui!

I heart 60's art

achoo.

I just made this while procrastinating doing other work.

I found this today and there was no credit to who made this, so I cant pass you on to someone cool, but we can look at it and be happy that there are always going to be creative people who need to see things change and made interesting and colourful and who will shape our ways of seeing till we are old and grey. hurray!

matchbox designs

these are great.

good head(s)

I wish vincent gallo was my uncle with a drinking problem. We wouldnt see eachother much. Just at family functions, where he would show up late, say nothing, or conversely, say something that would ruin christmas and get him kicked out of the house. I would join him on the porch as he was leaving and we would share a cigarette in the cold , while he imparted to me some bullshit advice that would only make sense to me on drugs or in the next ten years when things got rough.

2Fresh

My friend Scott who works for TA2 music not only has incredible music taste, but he is also an artist and knows how to curate a sick art show. Every few months, Scott puts on 2Fresh, a music and art showcase. I am super stoked for this one.

le petit prince

le petit prince is one of my favorite childrens books ever. Its about a little prince who lives alone on a planet and takes care of his rose. You can find it in english or french. I recommend you go find it at a bookstore and read it in one sitting. its way better than the alchemist.

Matthew Palladino

Matthew Palladino is a 22 year old SF based artist. He recently dropped out of art school to have at it his own way. By the looks of his recent work, I think he'll be okay without the degree. his work is so sick it makes me sick. and happy. and interested. and jealous. and inspired. good job Matthew. Check out more of his work at http://www.dumbstersf.com

Puno

Puno is a spanish artist living in Paris. His illustrations are clever and cheeky. check out kokekoko.com to see more of his work

Timber Timbre

I'm obsessed with the Toronto band Timber Timbre. You should probably get into them too so that we can talk about it.

manifesto

recently I had some art in a show called CHAPTER 3, as a part of Manifesto community and culture festival. Manifesto puts on art shows every year and they keep getting sicker and sicker. This year they took over three floors of a building, concentrating on street art, instillation art and RISE, an art auction, who's proceeds go to SKETCH, An art studio for street youth. I was asked to donate two pieces for RISE. to find out more about sketch, visit their website at www.sketch.ca

so good.

I Love seeing sketchbook art like I love my mother. it makes me feel tingly. eeeee..especially in a moleskine journal, cause i tend to use them and I love how the manilla(spelling?) color makes art look even sicker. this person has so many skills. to check more, go here.http://ffffound.com/image/b7ab0bbaff10ecdd65e93f3c826ba6eb9da44688
