My board design for ANOTHER DISPOSABLE ARTSHOW, a fundraiser for freeskates. I spent a lot of time on this one, painting the deck by hand with watercolour, acrylic and spray paint.
The show on Saturday was a huge success..My board was auctioned off as were a bunch of other beeeautiful deck designs. People got super creative with it. I'll be posting photos from the party as soon as I get them back.

This week I've been busy painting a board for the show Another Disposable Art show @ 52 mcaul on May 8th. The lineup is crazy. So excited to be showing with the likes of Nathan Jurevicius, Derrick Hodgson and Nicholas Di Genova. I collected their art and owned their designer toys for years. eek! spring's been sprung and the weather is heating. It's easter weekend and I'm on a train home to see family. A little decompression, free laundry and fridge raiding. MUCH NEEDED. There's been so much change in my life, lately. A little overwhelming in February is now a lot blessing in April. New house, studio makeover,a brand new park(with year long farmer's market!) BEST new coffee shop. promise of heat and art, vintage shoe shopping. Im looking forward to open windows over college st. lit candles, good books, digable planets on the stereo. sharing advice and loving life over wine on the patio. ART ART ART keeping me motivated and centered.

It's so springy outside! My roommate and I are moving April 1st and we are clearing our minds and our house of odds and ends. Free garage sale styles. It feels like new starts for us both. I’ve been getting tech-y with it this month with the release of the brand new iphone application DUB SELECTOR, available now at the itunes store! Juno nominated Reggae Artist DUBMATIX and I teamed up to create this new app, that lets you build and create your own versions of Dubmatix’ songs by interacting with my artwork. FAR OUT SIDE art show at Board of Directors Gallery in Toronto, Canada wrapped up recently and by all accounts I can say it was super successful. the Gallery was packed with good people, very tasty wine and most of all, inspired, lovely art. Artists Julia Deakin, Christopher Martin, Celeste tooGood, Norman Yeung, Juno Youn and Myself all contributed four or five pieces. All artists showing had an incredible style and vision and I think the work came together beautifully in the space. Above are the four pieces I had on show that night.

The crazy talented Sammy Rawal directed this video for JUSTIS of DoRight Records. The Justis/Sammy collaboration is long overdue. Roommates in College and long time friends, it is so nice to see two talents unite. Justis has been on the Canadian Hip Hop scene for a while now, making moves, and Sammy has been doing the same, directing videos, photo shoots and killing it in graphic design. I also had the pleasure of doing the illustration for the video, which lends an 80's keith haring vibe that Sammy was going for. Sammy Rawal is one half of our collective TOP CINQ, which I promise you'll being seeing and hearing alot more of in the future.
